The Product Regulatory Compliance Manager is a critical role responsible for ensuring that WorkWave's software products adhere to all applicable regulatory and compliance standards. This individual will act as the bridge between internal teams and external agencies, managing compliance requirements, driving process improvements, and reducing risk exposure for the organization.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in payroll, tax, and regulatory compliance, along with strong leadership skills. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to translate compliance requirements into actionable software updates, ensuring that WorkWave products meet customer needs and maintain the highest standards of operational integrity.It is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to make a meaningful impact on WorkWave's products and overall business operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Must have ability to learn and understand WorkWave’s software products, WorkWave’s customer use cases and how regulatory compliance translates to software requirementsManage large complex relationships with internal and external parties, including Compliance Solutions, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Audit, Legal, and State Agencies.Collaborate with partners and other leadership to drive strategic, design, and service enhancements.Manage Daily Activities - manage associates responsible for achieving internal and external service and operational standardsProcess Improvement - Analyze operational workflows and processes and develop standards, policies and proceduresDrive continuous process development, improvements and refinement, including development of standards that drive excellence, measurable results, scale and consistencyCompliance/Risk Management - Risk mitigation through development and application of effective controls, communications, reporting and checks & balances to reduce financial exposure and liabilityEnsure compliance with regulatory agencies and tax filing requirementsStrategy and Business Advancement - Partner with business development, sales and strategy to identify service and product offering, pricing and definitionParticipate in enhancement projects to improve customer service and retentionWHAT YOU'LL BRING: Must have 5-8 years of directly related experience in the following areas: Business Administration, Health & Wealth disciplines, Payroll, and US tax withholding. International experience is a plus Must have prior experience with software compliance Must have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have federal payroll filing and tax acknowledgment as well as cheque reconciliation experiencePrior experience with payroll taxes and associate developmentMust be detailed oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent time management skillsBachelor's degreeExperience with State Unemployment Insurance, State Income Tax, Local and special tax Regulatory Compliance WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US:
