Job description

The Network Developer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of networking principles, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Monitor network performance and identify and resolve network issues proactively.

Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.

Participate in network planning and capacity planning activities.

Document network configurations and procedures.

Provide technical support to end-users.

Stay current with the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth network operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in network administration and engineering.

Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)

Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)

Experience with firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, etc.)

Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL/TLS, etc.)

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail.

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
