As a Journalist, you will be responsible for delivering timely and engaging news stories, keeping readers informed about trends, market developments, and key insights into the property sector. This role requires an individual with a keen interest in real estate, strong writing skills, and the ability to turn complex data into accessible content.
Responsibilities
Content Creation: Write and report on daily property news for multiple platforms, including the company's website and social media channels.
Story Generation: Proactively pitch original story ideas that cover property market trends, economic impacts, and emerging property hotspots.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external media partners to ensure high-quality, impactful content is distributed across various channels.
Data Analysis: Analyze data and statistics, transforming complex information into relatable stories for a broad audience.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with the editorial and design team, as well as external platforms, to ensure seamless content production and distribution.
Requirements
Proven experience in a news desk role, with a focus on writing.
Interest in the Malaysian property market and trends.
Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
