JOB SUMMARY:

RafterOne’s Salesforce B2B Practice seeks a skilled Senior Test Engineer-AEM to join our team. The ideal candidate will support front-end authoring tasks, conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal user experience and content quality on websites built using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role demands a detail-oriented professional with expertise in manual testing, defect identification, and content quality management. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

AEM Authoring Support: 

  • Assist in front-end authoring tasks, including building and updating websites utilizing AEM. QA/UX Reviews: 
  • Perform a variety of QA and UX review tasks to identify, report, and assist in fixing website issues. 

Collaboration: 

  • Work directly with Project Managers, Site Managers, UX Designers, and Content Strategy teams to support diverse projects. 
  • Interact with project sponsors and stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements. 

Testing and Validation: 

  • Conduct component and template testing. 
  • Execute manual QA checks on authored or published content. 
  • Identify and report defects or abnormalities related to content, SEO, functionality, UI/UX, cross-browser behavior, and mobile responsiveness to the respective teams. 

Content Quality Management: 

  • Establish and enforce content quality standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. 
  • Conduct regular audits of published content to address issues in formatting, usability, or compliance with industry best practices. 

Technical Analysis: 

  • Analyze logs from Eclipse/Selenium (and other open-source tools) to identify broken links/assets, console errors, etc. 
  • Content Migration and Validation:
    Support content migration checks and perform content and visual validation tasks using tools such as BrowserStack or Percy.

Issue Resolution: 

  • Provide support in resolving issues to ensure the best user experience and compliance with brand standards. 

Project Management Tools: 

  • ·Utilize JIRA, Workfront, and Azure DevOps (ADO) as primary tools for project management and bug tracking. 
Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science OR equivalent combination of education and experience required 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AEM QA testing, including front-end authoring, template validation, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), eCommerce platforms (B2B and CPQ), analytics tools, API testing using Postman, and accessibility testing. Experienced in working with internal applications, including AVS, Asset Studio, and Swift Type, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. 
  • Proficiency in using QA tools like BrowserStack, Percy, Eclipse, and Selenium. 
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content quality standards. 
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser and mobile responsiveness testing. 
  • Experience in defect tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Workfront, and ADO.

  • Excellent US English verbal and written skills required 
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills 
  • Proactive self-starter with strong leadership skills to drive team performance effectively 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
