Data Modeller Lead


12 months with possible extension

ACT, NSW, QLD or Remote (Flexible work arrangements)

Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1

DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Data Modeller Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping data solutions and leading analytical model development to join our Federal Government Client team.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced data models to meet evolving business needs.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive range of data models, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders to gather insights and resolve complex data-related challenges.
  • Contribute to the overall data architecture and design strategy, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and documenting analytical data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for transactional data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in data modelling standards, best practices, and deploying scalable data solutions.
Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Databricks and master data management.
  • Proficiency in handling data governance processes and tools.
