SEO Content Manager Wanted

We’re looking for a talented SEO Content Manager to join our growing team full-time. If you're passionate about SEO and thrive on creating impactful content strategies, this role could be a perfect fit.

This is an internal-facing role, but you’ll occasionally interact with clients to validate strategies or gather insights. You’ll take full ownership of the content side of SEO, ensuring that all content aligns with best practices and drives measurable results.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing

As our SEO Content Manager, you’ll oversee the on-page SEO process from start to finish, driving exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Here’s what your responsibilities will include:

• 🔍 Keyword Research and Search Intent Mapping: Identify high-potential keywords and align them with user intent to guide content strategy.
• 🕵️‍♂️ Content Gap Analysis: Evaluate competitor content and identify opportunities to fill gaps with high-value, comprehensive content.
• ⚙️ On-Page Technical Checks: Audit and optimize title tags, meta descriptions, URLs, image alt text, and schema markup to meet technical SEO standards.
• 📚 Content Structure Optimization: Ensure content uses best practices for headings, internal linking, multimedia, and readability.
• 📊 Competitor Benchmarking: Regularly analyze competitors’ content and on-page strategies to identify actionable insights.
• 🎯 Content Classification: Categorize content into funnel stages (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) and prioritize pieces with commercial intent for maximum ROI.
• 📝 Content Strategy and Creation: Develop and oversee the execution of content strategies, including detailed briefs and outlines for new pages and updates for existing ones.
• 📂 SOP Development: Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and maintain quality.
• 🤝 Training and Delegation: Train and mentor a virtual assistant to manage repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on strategy and quality assurance.
• 💡 Collaboration: Work closely with the founder (who leads link-building efforts) and align content strategies with overall SEO goals.
• 📞 Client Interactions: Occasionally speak with clients to validate content priorities or gather insights, but your primary focus will remain internal.

🌟 What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone ready to own the entire content cycle and continuously improve our on-page SEO processes.

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience in on-page SEO and content optimization.
• Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies informed by search intent and competitor analysis.
• Experience creating SOPs and training team members or virtual assistants.
• Excellent project management skills—you’re organized and efficient.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

🎁 Bonus Points:

• Exposure to parasite SEO and experience leveraging platforms like Medium, Quora, or Reddit for SEO gains.
• Familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or other CMSs.
• Knowledge of Reddit SEO strategies and integrating social platforms into broader SEO goals.
• Experience with AI-driven content creation tools.
• Understanding of link building, technical SEO, or local SEO.
