Job description

Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is actively seeking a dedicated Private Investigator to join our team in the Portland/Vancouver area. As a licensed investigator in Oregon and/or Washington, you will engage in surveillance operations concerning various claims, including worker’s compensation, auto liability, and both short- and long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveillance operations for worker’s compensation and liability claims.
Perform comprehensive activity checks and background investigations.
Document and report findings in a clear and precise manner.
Collaborate effectively with team members throughout investigations.
Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all investigative activities.

Required Skills

A minimum of two years of surveillance experience.
Proficiency in performing SIU-related tasks such as taking statements and conducting scene inspections.
Exceptional report writing and verbal communication abilities.
Capability to execute both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse settings, including high-crime areas.
Comfort with pretext investigations.

Qualifications

An active Private Investigator license in the respective state is mandatory.
Strong attention to detail coupled with critical thinking skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
