Job Overview

TIG Risk Services is seeking a licensed Private Investigator in the Minneapolis area to join our esteemed team. With over two decades of experience, we excel in providing investigative services to the insurance, government, and legal sectors. This role involves performing surveillance and conducting investigations related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveillance work and activity checks on various claims
  • Perform background investigations to gather pertinent information
  • Take statements and execute scene inspections as required
  • Produce thorough and precise reports to document findings
  • Operate effectively in both stationary and mobile surveillance scenarios across diverse environments

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of surveillance experience
  • Familiarity with SIU-related functions, including statement acquisition and scene assessment
  • Strong verbal communication and report writing abilities
  • Proficiency in stationary and mobile surveillance in various settings, including those with high crime rates
  • Comfort with conducting pretext investigations
  • An active Private Investigator License in Minnesota is mandatory
