Job Overview

TIG Risk Services, a respected national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, is actively seeking a licensed Private Investigator based in the Modesto area. With over 23 years of experience serving the insurance, government, and legal sectors, we specialize in conducting surveillance, background investigations, and activity checks related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute surveillance operations for various insurance-related claims
  • Conduct thorough activity checks and background investigations
  • Compose detailed and precise reports documenting findings
  • Perform scene inspections and gather statements when necessary

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of experience in surveillance
  • Experience with Special Investigations Unit (SIU) functions, including taking statements and conducting scene inspections
  • Strong report writing and verbal communication capabilities
  • Proficiency in both stationary and mobile surveillance across diverse environments, including high-crime areas
  • Comfort in conducting pretext investigations

Qualifications

  • An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory
  • At least two years of surveillance experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
