Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Private Investigator in the San Jose area, specializing in surveillance work related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both long and short-term disability claims. This role offers a competitive starting salary of $40+/hr.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct surveillance for worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and disability claims.
Perform activity checks and comprehensive background investigations.
Take statements and execute scene inspections as required.
Compile detailed reports on investigative findings.

Required Skills

A minimum of two years of surveillance experience.
Familiarity with Special Investigations Unit (SIU) functions, including statement-taking and scene inspections.
Proficient report writing capabilities and strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including high-crime areas.
Comfort with pretext investigations.

Qualifications

An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.
Proven experience in surveillance and investigative work is essential.
