Job Overview

TIG Risk Services, a well-established national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, is actively seeking a skilled Private Investigator in the San Francisco area, licensed in California. The primary focus of this role involves conducting surveillance and investigations related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and both short and long-term disability claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute surveillance operations for various claims types.
  • Conduct activity checks and background investigations as required.
  • Gather statements and perform scene inspections when necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports based on investigative findings.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to high ethical standards in all investigative practices.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of surveillance experience.
  • Familiarity with Special Investigative Unit (SIU) functions, including taking statements and conducting scene inspections.
  • Exceptional report writing and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including high-risk areas.
  • Proficiency in using pretext investigations.
  • An active Private Investigator License in California is essential.

Qualifications

  • Active California Private Investigator License.
  • Proven experience in surveillance and investigative roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
