This is a work from home role, although bonus points if you are willing to relocate to Wollongong.
What you’ll be doing:
As part of a team of six developers, you will take ownership of Vue within the team, including architecting, developing and maintaining features within an existing Vue app. Working in an Agile environment, you will be tasked with implementing MQTT communication to control hardware from the Vue app remotely.
You will work with other developers within the business to ensure seamless integrations. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of your code and writing clean, testable, reusable, and efficient code while following best software practices.
You will provide technical opinions on projects and bring new ideas and ways of doing things whilst contributing to architecture decisions and finding creative solutions to technical challenges.
Experience required:
You have at least five years of experience in software engineering and have previously held a senior-level title. You have at least three years of experience working with Vue and consider yourself nearing expert level with the framework, taking great pride in UI design. In addition to this, you understand MQTT messaging or similar communication protocols.
You are a strong communicator and have previously led projects where you have worked autonomously. You thrive in a dynamic, problem-solving environment and aren’t afraid to stand up for and communicate your ideas.
You will need to be based in Australia with full work rights. Work from home is available from anywhere in Australia, although bonus points if you are willing to relocate to Wollongong.
