Job Overview

Join our esteemed team at DHHS as an Epic PB, HB, and Claims Analyst on a remote, six-month contract basis. This role is integral to enhancing our healthcare operations and driving innovation within our Epic system. We seek a dedicated professional who will leverage their expertise in revenue cycle management and claims processing to support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for new functionalities and enhancements within the Epic system.
  • Serve as the primary support contact for end-users, ensuring seamless application performance.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact application areas and collaborate with other teams for comprehensive solutions.
  • Guide workflow design, oversee testing, and ensure effective system analysis.
  • Partner with operational leaders to optimize system design and functionality.
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Prepare system documentation and develop educational materials for users during deployments, upgrades, and optimizations.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present information effectively to both clinical and business leaders.
  • Proficiency in Epic PB, HB, and Claims, with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within small groups, especially under tight project deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in a diverse professional environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle billing, hospital billing, and claims processing operations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of eight years in a directly related field is essential.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in revenue cycle or healthcare roles, emphasizing Epic build.
  • Proven expertise in translating business needs into Epic billing functionality and working with third-party vendors.
