Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst- Expert in a fully remote capacity. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who possesses a robust understanding of business processes and stakeholder engagement. This role will empower you to significantly impact our projects and drive solutions that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and document stakeholders, data flows, and current and future state process flows.
  • Gather, document, validate, and maintain business, functional, and technical/non-functional solution requirements required for market analysis, software procurement, and solution development.
  • Convert client system requirements into agile themes, product backlogs, epics, user stories, or comprehensive business requirement documents and use cases based on the chosen development approach.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and business subject matter experts to refine user stories and establish acceptance criteria in accordance with the team’s definition of ready.
  • Work with internal developers and testers, or vendors, to ensure functionality aligns with established acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in gap analysis and detailed requirement development initiatives.
  • Assist the Business/Product Owner in organizing, preparing for, and conducting user acceptance testing, including the creation of test scenarios and test cases.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to support user acceptance testing and successful production deployments.
  • Aid in the development of procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals, Quotes, and Information.
  • Support vendor proposal evaluations, documenting results accordingly.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and market research for proposed automation projects.
  • Facilitate options analysis and support business case development for automation projects.
  • Document meeting agendas and outcomes, and facilitate discussions related to requirements gathering and UAT.
  • Assist the project manager in maintaining project artifacts and generating status reports.
  • Develop surveys, assessment tools, and project methodologies, along with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites for each project assigned.
  • Execute other analytical and project support tasks as directed.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical capabilities with exceptional documentation proficiency.
  • Adept at translating system requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience conducting gap analysis and detailed requirement development.
  • Proficient in facilitating meetings and documenting outcomes effectively.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related domain.
  • Proven experience working within Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
