REMOTE GIS Analyst - Esri CONTRACT one year - State NC (740083)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced GIS Analyst to join our remote team for a one-year contract in North Carolina. This position demands a strong background in Esri’s Roads & Highways, as well as advanced capabilities in GIS analysis to enhance our organization’s analytical processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement GIS analytic methodologies, including change detection and geo-processing workflows.
• Maintain and manage roadway center line and linear referenced data utilizing Esri Roads & Highways.
• Execute complex queries or scripts to support analytical needs.
• Develop thorough documentation for workflows, standards, and best practices.
• Create and implement comprehensive test plans for various levels of system testing.
• Schedule team meetings and coordinate project deliverables effectively.
• Generate clear instructions for application support.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Esri's Roads & Highways.
• Proficient in GIS analysis, particularly within the Esri product suite.
• In-depth knowledge of linear referencing systems.
• Strong understanding of GIS principles, theories, and practices.
• Skilled in developing analytical procedures, integrating complex systems, and managing software configurations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and providing customer support.
• Familiarity with large relational databases and technology solution implementations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in GIS analysis and system implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
