Job Summary


As a key leader for the Sales Excellence team, the Director of Sales Excellence will play an integral role in shaping the future of Employbridge. This role will help the Employbridge Sales organization Win As One by implementing Sales onboarding and learning strategies and programs; designing and enhancing the onboarding processes, e-learning courses, Business Development Manager and Growth Leader learning journeys, workshops and more with the know-how to scale using technology. The Director of Sales Excellence will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors, consultants, and internal stake holders (e.g., Sales Leadership, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Corporate Learning & Development, Human Resources).


Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs for the Sales organization.
  • Implement training strategies, programs and curricula for the sales organization that increases the sales team's productivity and performance. (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
  • Assess the success of seller development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
  • Partner and build meaningful relationships across the organization to understand the sales organization's needs, gain buy-in on Enablement plans, and execute enablement strategy
  • Host and deliver sales training sessions both on general sales skills as well as company, industry, and product specific training


Preferred Education & Experience

  • BS/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Instructional Design Manager, Learning and Development Manager, Training Manager or similar, minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Supporting a Sales/Customer Development type organization
  • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional in Learning & Performance) is a plus


Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You’ll Bring)

  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods and how to scale to a large, geographically-dispersed selling organization (i.e., 200+ sellers, 20+ sales leaders)
  • Proficiency with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Proficient in MS Office, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • Strong ability to deliver and facilitate training for small and large groups, both in-person and virtually, across a diverse audience base
  • Strong reputation working with Sales teams as being innovative, accountable, reliable, and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Passion for working with and improving Sales people's productivity, performance and satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and writing acumen


Travel Requirements

5-10% travel time expected for the position.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $140,000 to $170,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
