Position Profile

Weaver is looking for a SQL Developer. The SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that support the organization's data management and business intelligence needs. This role involves working closely with data analysts, application developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the efficient storage, retrieval, and manipulation of data. The SQL Developer plays a critical role in reporting, optimizing database and data warehouse performance, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to the organization's digital transformation and automation strategies.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • 3+ years of administration & development experience in MS SQL Server
  • 3+ years of experience writing complex T-SQL queries and authoring/debugging stored procedures, functions and triggers
  • 3+ years of experience of creating and maintaining SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for data extraction, transformation & loading
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse
  • Experience using PowerShell/Python to streamline and automate frequent/recurring tasks
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Hands-on experience of database schema and code release processes
  • Experience of evaluating query performance and implementing changes/strategies to improve it
  • Experience of supporting Development teams to assist with data maintenance and query building
  • In this role you will be required to be flexible regarding work schedule, including evening and occasional weekend duties and working with an international team
  • Maintaining detailed documentation on database process & procedures
  • Experience using source-control tools e.g. Git, Azure DevOps
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
  • Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of project management
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams

Annual Base Pay Range for Texas: $90,000 to $110,000

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
