LocaliQ is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Market & Competitive Intelligence. This role involves analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer behavior to provide strategic insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Role Description

  • Create a framework for understanding LocaliQ competition; categorize key competitors into distinct, defined competitor categories
  • Complete annual analysis of LocaliQ position in the U.S. digital marketing space; analyze LocaliQ’s positioning against major categories of competitors to provide a detailed understanding of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
  • Based on ongoing research and analysis, provide recommendations on LocaliQ operations, pricing, competitive differentiation, and GTM approach based on competitor analysis
  • Oversee and develop quarterly Win/Loss, Retain/Churn analysis program
  • Review customer data to provide key insights and trends (CPL changes, product diversification, etc.) based on different customer segments (size, industry, region, etc.)
  • Quarterly summary of key economic trends likely to impact key LocaliQ verticals (Home Services, etc.)
  • Collaborate with LocaliQ BI Team and CS leadership to analyze churn data to unearth key trends/insights consumable to an Executive audience related to client churn (by product, client size, channel, etc.)
  • Produce regular monthly/quarterly churn analysis from churn data

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of related experience in market research, competitive intelligence, sales strategy, user experience research, or management consulting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in quantitative (survey design, sampling, etc.) and qualitative/user-centered research (interviewing, etc.) methods
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Experience with market research tools and Qualtrics preferred
  • Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficient
  • Expert facilitation and project management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated record of leading cross-functional projects
  • Experience conducting research and analysis and sharing actionable insights with stakeholders (including an Executive audience)

#LOCALIQ

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $100,000 and $120,000.  Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
