Job Summary

Are you ready to modernize a decade-old application into a sleek, high-performing platform? We’re seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong front-end expertise and proven leadership skills to rewrite an enterprise application using a modern tech stack.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to rewrite and modernize a 10-year-old application, transitioning from Angular.js to Angular v2+ and implementing a lightweight user interface with an API-driven backend.
• Focus on enhancing the front-end’s maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and modern design patterns are consistently applied throughout the project.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 7+ years of experience as Full Stack Developer or Lead experience
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Proven expertise in front-end development with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular.js and Java.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, BitBucket, Git).
• Background in application rewrites or modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Slack.
• Demonstrated professionalism and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

• Experience working with APIs and microservices architecture.
• Leadership experience mentoring junior developers and guiding technical teams.
• Knowledge of code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, CheckStyle).
• Familiarity with build tools like Gradle and Maven.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
