The Role

 

We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our growing consulting team and lead the way in shaping our consulting strategy for Central Government clients. In this pivotal role, you will design and establish enterprise-level business and technical architectures, as well as the governance frameworks to support them.

 

Leveraging your architectural expertise, you will:

 

  • Deliver value-driven solutions: Define visions, strategies, roadmaps, and target-state architectures aligned to our clients' business goals.
  • Own the full solution lifecycle: Lead the introduction and rollout of tailored business and technical enablers, overseeing every phase from ideation to delivery.
  • Drive impactful transformation: Develop governance models and operational frameworks that ensure long-term success for our clients.

Job Responsibilities 

 

  • Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies to align business processes, technology, and organizational goals.
  • Lead the design and execution of business architecture frameworks and solutions to address client challenges.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Utilize Target Operating Model (TOM) expertise to drive efficiency and scalability in client operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver innovative solutions that create measurable business value.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of architecture strategies into transformation programs.
  • Provide thought leadership and best practices in technical, business and enterprise level architecture.

 

Skills Required 

 

  • Proven experience in business architecture and enterprise architecture within a consulting environment.
  • Must currently or previously have worked in a consultancy organization with a focus on delivering enterprise-level solutions.
  • Experience working with Central Government clients and GDS standards.
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, business capability modelling, and enterprise integration strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement Target Operating Models.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise processes driving enabling effective governance and control.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
  • Experience in various architectural domains: business, application, data, and technology.
  • Proficiency in architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration technologies (APIs, SOA, microservices).
  • A growth mindset, adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-impact results.
  • Experience in working for a highly regulated environment and/or an industry regulator (preferred).

 

Security Clearance Requirements

 

The successful candidate must be eligible to go through a SC level security clearance.  

 

Location

 

The role will be required to work at customer sites around the UK and occasional attendance at our company offices in Horsham.
