Full-Stack Developer for Financial Mobile App Backend Development

We are FastBits, a Fintech startup under the Schnell Global Group, focused on creating innovative digital solutions. We are building a cutting-edge financial mobile app to help users manage their finances, set goals, and interact with an AI-powered assistant.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with at least 3 years of experience to design and implement the backend architecture, APIs, and database for a financial mobile app. You will collaborate with a Flutter Developer to build a seamless and efficient app experience, ensuring robust functionality and secure data handling.

Tasks

• Design and implement a scalable backend architecture for the financial mobile app.
• Develop and deploy secure RESTful APIs for features such as:
• User authentication (email/password).
• Manual account and transaction management.
• Goal creation and tracking.
• AI-powered chat integration.
• Build and manage a relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) for storing user data, transactions, and goals.
• Implement secure user authentication and authorization using OAuth2 or JWT.
• Collaborate with the Flutter Developer to ensure smooth frontend-backend integration.
• Set up and manage the app’s deployment environment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• Monitor and optimize backend performance for scalability and reliability.
• Debug and resolve issues to maintain a high-quality codebase.
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in designing and managing relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT) and data encryption.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions (e.g., AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (e.g., OpenAI for AI chat, financial APIs like Plaid).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
