Primary Responsibilities

• Assist leadership in understanding and analyzing the changes, innovation, and continuous data improvement efforts across the DSNP line of business
• Bridge the gap between Medicaid (C&S) and Medicare (M&R) teams to create wholistic DSNP solutions that span across both sides of the business
• Use SAS/SQL to construct member-based datasets
• Collaborate with various workstreams to develop, execute, and deliver on business requirements
• Construct polished MS Excel models to satisfy analytical requests
• Interpret analytical results, develop actionable insights, and present analytical data to leadership for organization-wide decisions
• Provide ongoing, meaningful communications to requestors on project status, results, and conclusions from analyses

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
• 1+ years of health care experience working with claims data and medical codes
• 1+ years of SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), PL/SQL and/or other relational database software in a work environment
• Proficiency in performing data analytics
• Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, pivot tables, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• 3+ years of SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.), PL/SQL and/or other relational database software in a work environment
• Experience working with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid data
• Experience building Dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
