Alphanumeric Systems is seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team in North Carolina. Reporting to the Department Manager, this role is critical for driving sustainable financial growth by increasing sales and cultivating strong relationships with existing and new clients. The ideal candidate will act independently, managing end-to-end solutions for strategic opportunities and providing expertise to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
In this role, you will focus on promoting Alphanumeric's KOL Engagement Solutions, which provide innovative, scalable technology and expertise to optimize Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships. These solutions enable organizations to streamline their engagement with thought leaders through advanced tools for data analysis, engagement planning, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
Schedule and lead business meetings with prospective clients, showcasing KOL Engagement Solutions as a key offering.
Present and promote Alphanumeric's services, including scalable KOL engagement tools that help clients streamline collaboration, maintain compliance, and achieve strategic objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver tailored KOL engagement solutions.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, needs, and proposed solutions.
Provide reliable feedback and exceptional post-sales support.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Deliver compelling presentations and recommendations to drive solution adoption and client success.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, sales, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role.
Strong track record of sales performance, preferably in technology or pharmaceutical solutions.
Customer support experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
In-depth market knowledge and proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with KOL engagement processes, tools, and industry compliance standards.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports.
Technical Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
