A Brief Overview


The Director of Commercial Development will be responsible for driving growth of Safelite's commercial strategy. They will lead key strategic initiatives, monitor and report on commercial segment performance using data to develop actionable insights and recommendations. They will drive the development of new capabilities and proactively seek ways to optimize business processes.

What you will do


Strategy Execution & Development
• Partners closely with VP, Commercial Sales to inform and maintain understanding of commercial sales strategy.
• Drives results in alignment with key business goals by translating strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Effectively leverages strategic plans to educate key stakeholders and rally support and action to execute the plan.

Project Development & Management
• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones and identification and advocation of key resources.
• Lead cross functional teams to execute pilots and identify needs and develop process improvements.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with VP, Commercial Sales and key project stakeholders

Monitor Performance
• Identify and track key metrics to assess strategy effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Interpret and present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support informed decision-making.

Process Improvements
• Proactively identifies opportunities to build new capabilities and improve processes.
• Stays current on industry knowledge to identify trends and opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent work experience Required

  • 10+ years Relevant experience Required

  • Project Management experience Required

  • Ability to influence and drive results among executive leaders and cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization. (High proficiency)

  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities, develop creative solutions and support implementation. (High proficiency)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization, including a high level of proficiency in developing PowerPoints. (High proficiency)

  • Strong leadership and team management skills (High proficiency)

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset (High proficiency)

  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform decision-making. (High proficiency)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment (High proficiency)
