Additionally, we provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) Solutions, supporting our clients with scientific and technical expertise, acting as an extension of their team, coordinating all laboratory related needs, advising on strategies for lab data collection and providing end-to-end analytical and logistical solutions.

The Senior Project Manager, Process Excellence will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects, while ensuring alignment with the strategic organizational goals set by Process Excellence. This role will focus on utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical lab teams, kit manufacturing, IT, and quality assurance, to implement projects that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Scoping:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document the scope, objectives, and deliverables for each project.
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure project success.
  • CapEx Budget Management:
    • Prepare, manage, and track capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets for assigned projects.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints and report on any variances or potential risks to budget.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to forecast, track, and optimize project expenditures including time review/approval for assigned project resources.
  • Milestone Setting and Progress Monitoring:
    • Define and set clear project milestones and deadlines.
    • Monitor progress toward milestones, ensuring the project stays on schedule and within scope.
    • Identify potential delays or risks and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • KPI Monitoring:
    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success and performance.
    • Regularly review KPIs with stakeholders to assess project health, quality, and performance against targets.
    • Proactively address any discrepancies or challenges that may impact KPIs or overall project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
    • Provide direction and mentorship to team members, helping them achieve individual and project goals.
    • Foster a positive and productive team environment.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
    • Identify and assess potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Address project-related issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines or deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to scope or budget.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment between project goals and business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
    • Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Post-Project Evaluation:
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, areas for improvement, and best practices for future projects.
    • Provide detailed project completion reports and documentation to stakeholders.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (strongly preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management or operational excellence roles, with a focus on clinical laboratory or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, FDA, ISO, GMP, GxP) and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory operations, clinical trial processes, and kit build manufacturing.
  • Expertise in project management, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and achieving measurable process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations and quality assurance practices, particularly within clinical labs and medical device environments.
