To provide staff supervision and assist with CARF coordination to ensure that Workforce Services programming is delivered with consideration to company mission, compliance with CARF, Charles Taylor Workforce Services Policies & Guidelines and adherence to OOD standards. Provide direct services to participants referred to Workforce Services by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities. Meet all specified performance outcomes and goals.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
Have a thorough understanding of how to manage staff, develop quality programing and services, and coordinate Summer Youth Programing.
Possess a solid understanding and knowledge of what is required to implement policies, quality assurance activities and training procedures.
Understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, career counseling and testing capabilities, knowledge of disability, job preparation and development techniques and rehabilitation practices and principles.
Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time management.
The ability to demonstrate confidence, honesty, reliability and adhere to professional code of ethics.
Possess appropriate certification and credentials. Knowledge of the use of computers and basic office software (Word, Excel).
Be goal oriented and highly organized.
Essential Job Functions

Supervision and Program Development
Implement program development activities to ensure Workforce Services programing is carried out in efficient, legal, and quality driven manner
Assist with hiring and training of staff
Recruit, evaluate, coach, and supervise staff
Make recommendations to Director as needed to improve efficiency, effectiveness, or satisfaction of Workforce Services
Set personal and team goals quarterly (GGOB)
Foster relationships with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities and other referral sources including but not limited to high school staff and other service coordination team members
Service Delivery
Perform tasks necessary to provide Career Counseling, Vocational Evaluation, Job Seeking Skills Training and job Development services to participants in accordance with OOD VR Provider Manual Guidelines and Workforce Services Policy and Procedures
Proficiently communicate with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and participants to ensure services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
Comply with the standards set forth by Charles Taylor Workforce Services
Perform other related duties as assigned
Summer Youth Coordination
Perform tasks necessary to provide Summer Youth services to participants in accordance with OOD VR Provider Manual Guidelines and Workforce Services Policy and Procedures
Proficiently communicate with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, school personnel, employers and participants to ensure services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
Comply with the standards set forth by Charles Taylor Workforce Services
Perform other related duties as assigned
Documentation
Complete written reports on each case in accordance with requirements specified by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities in Vocational Rehabilitation Provider Manual
Enter billings and outcomes information into Matrix systems as specified by Matrix Policy and Guidelines
Follow all documentation guidelines in compliance with CARF
CARF Accreditation and Quality Assurance
Implement policies, guidelines and plans that ensure compliance with CARF standards
Assist with the coordination of the accreditation process
Assist with the completion of all CARF maintenance and follow up activities as identified by CARF
Assist with the implementation quality assurance activities
Gather, monitor, and communicate identified program outcomes
Qualifications
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
Certification or Licensure such as CRC, PC, LSW, LISW preferred.
Master’s Degree in the Human Services or Health Care Field preferred.
Thorough knowledge of the Rehabilitation field, trends and methods.
Must have thorough knowledge of disability.
Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willing to travel.
Must have excellent communication skill and problems solving abilities.
