About Dashtoon:

Dashtoon is creating a digital comics ecosystem by building innovative products that reinvent how graphical content is created and consumed. Our vision sets us on a path to being the best in AI research, product design, content creation, and building the most innovative creator community.


Role Overview:

As a Lettering Artist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual storytelling of our digital comics. You will craft dynamic and engaging lettering that complements the art, elevates the reader's experience, and resonates with diverse genres.


Key Responsibilities:

Typography Mastery: Design expressive and dynamic lettering styles for dialogues, captions, and action text, tailored to various comic genres such as action, romance, drama, and fantasy.

Precision & Clarity: Place speech bubbles, captions, and action text with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring readability and aesthetic balance with the artwork.

Creative Adaptability: Experiment with and adapt lettering techniques to suit different artistic and narrative styles, enhancing the mood and tone of each comic.

Collaborative Design: Work closely with writers, illustrators, and editors to ensure seamless integration of lettering with visual elements.

Innovative Execution: Stay updated on typography trends in digital comics and bring fresh ideas to refine our storytelling continuously.


What We’re Looking For:

Expertise in Typography: A solid foundation in dynamic, expressive lettering with a flair for creating visually impactful designs.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in positioning and scaling lettering elements to maintain balance and readability.

Creativity & Versatility: The ability to adapt lettering styles to a wide range of genres and themes, ensuring the lettering enhances the story's emotional impact.

Relevant Experience: Prior experience in cartoonish or graphic-heavy design projects is highly preferred.

Passion for Comics: A genuine love for comics and storytelling is a big plus!
