As an AUTOSAR Security Engineer (Freelancer) you will lead the development and maintenance of cybersecurity standards in automotive systems. Your expertise will shape industry trends and ensure the adoption of secure communication protocols and architectures.


Engagement Details:

  • Start Date: February-March
  • Location: Remote (Belgium-based, Brussels site preferred)
  • Contract Length: 12 months, with potential for extension
  • Allocation: Full-time, 100%


Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to AUTOSAR WG-IVC activities focusing on secure communication standards.
  • Align security standards with internal strategies and future technical needs.
  • Summarize AUTOSAR WG activities and report trends to stakeholders.
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise to internal projects.
  • Participate in WG Webex meetings and manage documentation using JIRA and LaTeX-based systems.


Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity protocols (e.g., TLS, IPSec, SecOC).
  • Familiarity with key management systems, secure boot, and PKI.
  • Experience with Model-Based Development and secure processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
  • Basic understanding of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive development.
