Role/Department
This role sits within the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) Governance & Reporting function and reports into the Team Leader for the Governance and Reporting function. The role is designed to support the Team Leader and ensuring compliance with EIM policies/frameworks and support the reporting function including the Enterprise Horizon Scanning and Threat Monitoring program.
Responsibilities include: Supporting the incident management governance and reporting function, ensuring compliance with Regulatory and organizational standards, and driving continuous improvement. The position will also act as a liaison point for the regional Incident Management Teams and coordinate with internal cross functional teams.
Note: This role can be worked on a full-time remote basis.
The key responsibilities of the role include;
Support the Team Leader and be a valued contributor to the Governance and Reporting team, driving the output for data analysis/reporting, risk assessment and ensuring continuous improvement.
Ensure changes to EIM policy, standards, plan, procedures are tracked, implemented and then communicated in appropriate forums/councils. In addition, monitor Enterprise Change Management Significant Initiatives and assist with analysis at tollgates.
Support and update the EIM team reporting process, namely:
Perform Event analysis, producing a risk impact summary for all new events
Input to Forward Looking Risk Events in ERM
Support and contribute in the development for a testing program for the EIM team based on relevant risk factors and potential impacts to the organization. Help to deliver testing for the EIM team, evaluate performance and support/track remediation actions to demonstrate continuous improvement.
Support the development, review and execution of the EIM communications strategy ensuring compliance to agreed procedures, plans and standards.
Skills/Experience
The successful candidate will benefit from having;
A number of years related experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, Risk, or Controls.
Knowledge of crisis management, disaster, and business recovery and continuity management in a financial or corporate environment.
Strong experience in managing policies, procedures and guidelines, combined with analytical and leadership.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and engagements whilst meeting tight deadlines.
Knowledge of US, UK and European regulatory frameworks.
Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
Strong understanding of data analytics and related tools including Power BI
Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
Ability to drive to execution
