Position Summary

The Sr. Manager of Compliance and System Administration will ensure that the Medical Affairs team adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role involves managing compliance programs, conducting audits, leading trainings, ensuring industry leading quality assessments and maintaining systems that support the team's operations. The Sr. Manager of Compliance and System Administration will bring a strong background in compliance, credentialing standards, and system administration within the healthcare industry.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and quality standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks, areas for improvement, and system utilization.
  • Manage and maintain systems that support the Medical Affairs team's operations, including databases, software applications, and other technology tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide training and support to team members on compliance-related topics and system usage.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards, and update compliance programs and systems accordingly.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to management, clients, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships to drive accountability toward system improvements and delivery on contractual obligations
  • Actively participate and support other projects with Array and Medical Affairs
  • Oversee and manage the people-related aspects of the department, including fostering employee and team development, driving performance and development initiatives, building and sharing best practices, providing coaching and feedback to support growth, ensuring team retention, and cultivating a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Performs other duties as needed


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business Administration).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in nation-wide compliance and system administration within the healthcare or industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles with direct reports.
  • CPCS and/or CPMSM certification
  • Thorough understanding of internal credentialing, payor and provider enrollment, state licensing, and facility privileging.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to NCQA and Joint Commission.
  • Proficiency in using and managing databases, software applications, and other technology tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in team member development and training.
  • Demonstrated success in payor and facility audits.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma or advanced degree or certification in compliance, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience with multiple credentialing software and tools used in the healthcare industry.


Physical Requirements

  • Constantly operate at a computer and other related peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse, headset, etc.
  • Must remain in a stationary position most of the time working.
  • Frequent communication via remote meeting software, softphones, or cell phones.
  • Predominantly working in the employees’ home, indoor, office setup.
