Job description

Position Purpose: Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives.

  • Manage the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure.
  • Lead complex ID Card Projects for new business implementations, and run the business changes, associated with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial product lines (including Ambetter Marketplace).
  • Direct and advise print vendors for ID card print processing and fulfillment for project and daily operations.
  • Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
  • Assist with establishment and maintenance of corporate project management methodology and other department procedures
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans
  • Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, may include written executive summaries
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
  • Lead meetings and interact with several cross-functional organizational teams, including but not limited to: Business Expansion and Implementation (BEI), Enrollment and Billing (EMB), Production Control, Finance, IT, Business Intelligence, Acquisitions, etc.
  • Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas
  • Gather requirements and lead Requirements and QA BA's through playbook creation, QAT unit testing and UAT of ID card materials.
  • Conduct QA of Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) and Composition Requirement Documentation (CRD).
  • Monitor the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation.
  • Submit and track UMV support tickets for automation of print jobs.
  • Submit and track IT support tickets to initiate projects and/or update requirements.
  • Submit and track incident tickets to WorkFront for ICS Tracking and incident management.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of project management and implementation or program management experience.
  • Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Agile Methodology experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SmartSheets for project management strongly preferred
  • Jira experience strongly preferred.
  • Xcelys, Amisys or NexGen CaSS platform experience strongly preferred.
  • iBPS and/or DAS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with OneSuite or Clarity strongly preferred.
  • OCoE OnePortal experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Q-Test strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools.
  • Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.
  • Experience or exposure to SmartComms composition tool strongly preferred
  • Experience or exposure with design and development preferred.


License/Certification: PMP, PgMP, or CAPM strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year
