Corporate Tax Professional

We are currently seeking a Corporate Tax Professional to join our dynamic Jefferson Wells tax team. This is a primarily remote Direct Hire position, and an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in working with a team of seasoned tax professionals and one requiring a hands-on approach in the areas of Tax Compliance and Provision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Federal, State, and Local tax returns.
• Assist with tax audits and respond to tax notices.
• Prepare tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
• Utilize OneSource Income Tax and Corptax software for tax compliance and provision tasks.
• Use advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA or Masters in Tax is preferred. Candidates in the process of obtaining either are also encouraged to apply.
• 4+ years’ experience within Big 4 or Large Public Company required. A mix of both is preferred.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software is a plus.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $100,000
