With a focus on Medical/Pharmacy claims, you'll be crafting lightning-fast, efficient queries that support our network providers and various departments within our dynamic environment. Your role extends beyond just development; you'll also dive into database maintenance tasks and collaborate closely with our Director of Data Integrity & Integrations.

And of course, you'll uphold the highest standards of data security and compliance, ensuring that our practices align with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Harness the power of SQL to analyze, test, and validate Medical and Pharmacy claims, EMR data, and member attribution.
  • Embrace the world of Python or be eager to dive in and learn.
  • Navigate HL7 standards with ease.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize SSIS Packages and Stored Procedures.
  • Champion best practices for data accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Fine-tune SQL queries for optimal performance and propose new solutions as needed.
  • Play a crucial role in data migration procedures and ensure seamless production support.
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold data integrity and quality, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and back up databases regularly, ensuring smooth operations even under heavy traffic loads.
  • Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures and code, ensuring transparency and accessibility.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor s degree in software development, computer science, or related fields (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts.
  • Familiarity with Python and SSIS/SSRS.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of HL7 Standards and experience with tools like GitHub and Dataedo are a plus.
