Job description

Inclusively is partnering with a safety science company to hire a Director, Human Resources. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use statistical modeling, machine learning, and numerical optimization to discover and explain patterns in data.
  • Create features and develop models beyond standard toolset libraries to meet unique business challenges.
  • Interpret and communicate findings and insights from the data to business partners
  • Define data needs and evaluate data quality for applicability to posed problems
  • Execute projects from design through implementation and final delivery to internal business partners
  • Master of Science Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related field required. PhD degree desired.
  • 1-3 years professional experience with predictive statistical models or numerical optimization, and working with typical data used in such analyses
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, R, Scala)
  • Ability to derive insights or novel ideas from data and mathematical models using a hypothesis driven framework. Connect insights to desired research or business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new algorithms and tools, including optimization, natural language processing and graph analysis.
