Job Title: Software Quality Analyst

About Us: Accruent is a global company with multiple software products. This role will be focused on the development of Accruent's RedEye product which handles Engineering Data Management with a cloud-based solution.
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Analyst to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing and an interest in test automation (experience with the Robot Framework or other automation tools is a plus but not required). This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts if experienced or interested in learning.
Participate in release planning and provide input on testing timelines and requirements.
Stay updated on the latest testing tools and techniques, recommending improvements to the QA process.
Create and maintain technical documentation for testing processes and results.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test automation tools, such as the Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Experience with AI developer tools such as CoPilot or similar.
