Configuration Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Configuration Engineer to join our team in Argentina.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications across various platforms, ensuring seamless integration and operation
• Work closely with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), domain engineers, and other stakeholders to address integration issues, implement fixes, and resolve complex technical challenges
• Make small code updates, fixes, and enhancements primarily in Node.js and Python
• Troubleshoot production issues, providing resolutions or escalating to the appropriate teams when needed
• Review and validate configuration work through peer review processes in Git
• Ensure all code and configuration changes are properly documented
• Assist with debugging and resolving implementation bugs using tools like New Relic for monitoring and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain configuration reporting using Python, enabling stakeholders to monitor settings, track changes, and make informed business decisions
• Work with LaunchDarkly (or similar systems) to manage feature flags for both major and minor releases, ensuring smooth deployment of non-production and production changes   

Workplace: Remote based in Argentina

Must Have Skills:

• Experience in Node.js and Python
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving configuration issues and integration problems
• Ability to manage and monitor configurations and settings across multiple applications, ensuring optimal performance
• Experience with multi-tenant systems is a plus
• Background in managing application configurations and resolving production issues is beneficial

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on a multi-tenant product is a plus
• Experience working on application configuration and troubleshooting production issues is a plus
• Knowledge of or experience in the logistics sector is a plus, though not required
