Job Purpose
The overall purpose of the HV Services (HVS) Coordinator role is to assist with the day to day running of operations within the HVS team. This includes the programming and scheduling of works, Invoicing and billing management, Obtaining and putting together quotations for small works, Document and quality control, The raising and issuing of Work Orders and any other supporting activities and requirements of the team.
 
The ideal candidate will be from a coordination or administration background with a high level of organisation and computer literacy. This is a permanent role which is primarily home/office based with travel required for meetings / team events.
 
Organisational Context
RES is a leader in renewable energy and is expanding its reach in the HV area of operational services. The business unit currently operates and maintains a portfolio of solar, storage, wind and offhsore assets and has ambitious plans to further expand.
 
Key Accountabilities
The HVS Coordinator will focus on the daily, weekly and monthly needs of the HVS team, supporting the regional Operations Managers and other staff to deliver the service in a safe, compliant, professional, and cost-effective manner.
 
The responsibilities of the HVS Coordinator include:
  • Responding to daily requests for support from the site technicians, prioritise any issues, and escalate as required
  • Monitoring compliance with maintenance schedules / reports, to ensure the highest quality of documentation for completed maintenance, identify upcoming maintenance tasks, highlight overdue items for attention, and action defects
  • Compiling summaries of maintenance work completed, collating photographs, and drafting relevant insights, for monthly client reporting
  • Stock management and procurement of materials. Lead an improvement activity to increase the quality and efficiency of this task
  • Support technicians with their day to day requirements from holiday requests to booking hotels for work travel
  • Coordinate PPE maintenance and new orders
  • Maintaining a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other quality management tools as necessary
  • Ensuring client invoicing for any chargeable items (including spare parts) is carried out accurately and promptly
  • Help organise team meetings and annual team events
  • Support monthly & annual reporting tasks
  • Analysis of maintenance KPIs and highlighting trends and anomalies
  • The raising and closing of job workorders
  • The raising, management and closing of purchase orders
  • The ordering of materials as required for small defect rectification
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers and putting together quotations for small works.
  • The efficient programming of Engineers
  • Work programme management
Experience
Essential:
  • Will have carried out a senior Administrative role or Co Ordinator role previously
  • Will be able to demonstrate operating in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Will be well organised and self-motivated
Desirable:
  • Previously have worked in a renewables environment
Skills
Essential:
  • Fully competent with Microsoft office and overall good computer skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills
Qualifications
Essential:
  • Full UK driving licence
 Desirable:
  • IOSH
