Position Overview
Becker Professional Education is seeking an Inside Sales B2B Account Manager to develop a new book of business, build a robust sales pipeline, and drive sales results across all product lines. As the first dedicated B2B Account Manager sitting within the Inside Sales Team, you will demonstrate high-level knowledge of Becker exam preparation products, (CPA, CMA, CIA, EA), and CPE/CE requirements.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will require excellent customer service, prospecting, and account management skills along with significant consultative selling skills to assess the needs of clients in their assigned market, while providing creative and innovative solutions that provide ROI.
What You'll Do Builds, creates, and establishes a book of B2B clients.Executes all elements of the defined sales and marketing strategy, including interacting with external clients, prospects, and organizations to provide accurate and updated information regarding high stakes exams (CPA, CMA, CIA, EA) and CPE/CE requirements to the accounting industry in general.Creates and executes account-specific strategies for all assigned and prospective accounts to build and grow revenue for an assigned book of business.Networks, prospects, and develops professional relationships with all potential customers and clients.Works closely with marketing to drive awareness of Becker which results in a pipeline of opportunities and closed won new B2B business.Proactively communicates and reports progress and activity to leadership.Keep well-informed of competitor activities and share this information with local, regional, and national teams as appropriate.What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or related discipline.A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sales, or account management required, and with building net-new books of business.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and objectives.Working knowledge of the accounting and finance industries preferred but not required.Capability to handle complex customer situations, a large geographic territory and stretch assignments as requested.Experience using Salesforce CRM System and Microsoft office products/systems (excel, ppt, word, teams, etc.).Colibri Group welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and experiences, and we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed in the job description.
