Job description

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a Procurement & Admin Specialist residing in the Philippines who plays a key role in managing the sourcing and submission of bids for various products, services, or goods requested by end users through the MTA portal. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously while ensuring compliance with MTA regulations. The specialist will be responsible for vendor outreach, price sourcing, price markup, and maintaining communication with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Utilize the MTA portal to identify active contracts and determine the requirements for products, services, or goods needed.
  • Bid Analysis: Carefully analyze bid requirements and specifications to fully understand the needs of the end user.
  • Vendor Outreach & Price Sourcing: Actively engage with vendors and research online sources to obtain competitive pricing and quality options for required items.
  • Price Markup & Submission: Apply a standard 30% markup on sourced prices and ensure all submissions are in compliance with MTA regulations and deadlines.
  • Precision & Accuracy: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all bid submissions to avoid disqualification or financial loss, double-checking figures and documentation before finalizing bids.
  • Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing and availability and maintain clear, professional communication with internal teams for smooth operations.

  • Strong understanding of bid requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for vendor outreach and internal coordination.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining consistent professionalism.
