Job description

  • The ideal candidate's workstation should be set up in a safe and secure location at home with stable and reliable internet not less than 25 Mbps.
  • The candidate will be required to use their own equipment to perform the role.
  • PHP50,000 -60,000 per month.
  • 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Manila Time, Monday to Friday.

About the Role

The role is responsible for all day-to-day finance functions, supporting the Australian General Manager and CEO to ensure the business runs efficiently. This includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cashflow and reconciliation management, payroll processing, and general administration. 


Key Responsibilities

 
  • Accounts Receivable
    • Produce and send monthly statements from Xero.
    • Manage delivery receipts from each job and match these to relevant client invoices.
    • Manage the debt collection process.
    • Ensure customer claims and retentions are reconciled each month.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Manage and process all creditor invoices, including back costing to related projects and creditor queries.
    • Prepare payments to the bank for GM to approve.
    • Prepare expense claims for GM to approve.
  • Finance Administration
    • Complete daily bank reconciliation In Xero.
    • Reconcile credit card spending in Xero.
    • Process cash and credit card transactions as required.
    • Liaise with external Accountants regarding the preparation and processing of GST returns and other government-required reporting. 
  • Administration
    • Manage the company’s motor vehicle requirements including car registrations, RUCs, WOFs, and servicing.
    • Provide general administration support including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and filing documents.

Experience & Software

  • Minimum 3 years in an Accounts Specialist role or similar. 
  • Ideally, experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Xero, including Xero Projects.
  • Previous experience working with or supporting Australian businesses.
  • An understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
  • Proficient with reporting, payroll, and administration systems: XERO, Smartly, and Microsoft Suite.
