Job description

This is a remote position.

A luxury leisure cruise company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time remote Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in managing financial records and a strong understanding of Xero accounting software. The role will require approx 1 - 2 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, invoices, and payments.

Update and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting.

Prepare essential financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial summaries as needed.

Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reports to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
