Client Timezone: Pinantan Lake, British Columbia

Schedule:

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm Pinantan Lake, British Columbia time with an hour unpaid break
  • Training Period(Part-time): Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm Pinantan Lake, British Columbia time. Might take a week or two depending on the assistant's progress.

Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Medical Virtual Assistant to become an integral part of our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you’ll be the linchpin of our operations, managing sensitive medical information, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice. Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of client emails, addressing health-related queries with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism
  • Handle prescription-related tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all information is correctly processed and recorded
  • Maintain and organize patient records in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding client privacy and data security
  • Process invoices and manage payment information with utmost precision and confidentiality
  • Provide top-tier customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally to enhance patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with our medical team to maintain and update our state-of-the-art medical information system
  • Coordinate seamlessly with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery and optimal patient care
  • Assist in streamlining administrative processes to improve overall practice efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare administrative role
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic health concepts, with a particular focus on women’s health issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and empathetically
  • Proficiency in using medical software systems and general office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
  • HIPAA compliance training (or willingness to undergo comprehensive training)
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the hours of 10 AM to 7 PM PST, with a one-hour unpaid break
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes
  • A passion for women’s health and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
