Summary:

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our team and help us elevate our online presence. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position is remote.   

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct research on current social media trends, hashtags, and best practices to inform content strategy.
  • Develop creative ideas for posts, stories, and campaigns that align with our brand voice and goals.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with content planning, including drafting captions, selecting visuals, and brainstorming ideas.
  • Maintain and organize a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules.
  • Support influencer outreach and partnership initiatives, and other marketing-related initiatives as needed.

 

 Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating engaging content
  • Basic graphic design skills; familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Experience with video editing software is a bonus (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Passion for storytelling, creativity, and staying on top of social media trends
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to feedback
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to comprehend complex and multi-source data into succinct and marketable content
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Must demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and the ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal information
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and good judgment

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess 0-1 year of related experience.
  • Candidate must be actively pursuing or possess a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
