Role: e-Commerce Manager (Contracted)

Note: This contracted role has an expected duration up to (6) months with the option for a longer engagement based on business and operational needs. All duties will be performed remotely with period video meeting(s) and completed milestone reviews.

Scope of Position: Trustwell seeks an experienced and results-driven contracted e-Commerce Manager for a short-term engagement to enhance our online sales strategies and operations. This role focuses on driving e-commerce revenue growth for at least two of our key products. You will leverage your expertise in workflows, technology integration, digital advertising, and customer engagement to ensure a seamless, profitable online customer experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
E-commerce Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales, revenue, and profitability, including traffic and conversion rates.
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other relevant channels.
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Utilize HubSpot to track campaign performance, analyze customer behavior, and implement improvements.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution:
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create and optimize digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email marketing, social media, SEO, paid search, etc.).
- Monitor the performance of digital campaigns, analyze metrics, and adjust tactics to optimize ROI.
- Oversee SEO efforts to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
Customer Experience & Support:
- Ensure the e-Commerce platform offers an exceptional customer experience, including implementing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and manage customer feedback, reviews, and complaints, resolving issues promptly.
- Create and implement workflows that enhance user experience and streamline the online purchase journey.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, AOV, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and sales trends.
- Continuously prepare regular reports for leadership, providing insights into e-commerce performance and recommending areas for improvement.
- Use analytics tools to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform inventory planning.
Platform Management & Optimization:
- Integrate advanced technology solutions, such as Digital River, to optimize e-commerce capabilities.
- Design and manage targeted abandoned cart email campaigns to improve customer retention and conversions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and IT to align e-commerce strategies with overall business goals.
- Stay current with platform updates, new features, and best practices to enhance functionality and improve performance.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and advertising platforms, including LinkedIn and Google Ads.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce tools such as Digital River, WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce and Shopify.
- Proficiency in creating and optimizing workflows and email campaigns to boost conversions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Customer-centric approach with a focus on experience optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business, or similar; required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Shopify) are a plus.
- Proven experience as an e-Commerce Manager or in a similar role, ideally in a B2B SaaS or food industry context.
- Experience in integrating e-commerce platforms with broader business systems (ERP, CRM).
- Understanding of SEO best practices for driving organic traffic to e-commerce platforms.
Compensation: Based on Experience
