Overview:
WP Engine is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a SaaS company revolutionizing the industry, we are committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients. The Procurement Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently and effectively to support our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and source products/services at the best value
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and vendor contracts
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to procurement activities
- Provide support to other departments as needed with procurement-related tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, best practices, and industry trends
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with procurement software and tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
