Your mission
Are you passionate about events and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-growing SaaS startup? As an Events Working Student at deskbird, you’ll be at the heart of planning and executing events that highlight our brand and strengthen relationships with clients and industry leaders. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in event management, while contributing to our vibrant and innovative team.
In this role you will
Event Planning & Coordination:
  • Assist in organising virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, conferences, and internal team events.
  • Work with marketing and sales to align event goals with company objectives.
  • Handle logistics, including venue research, vendor communication, and scheduling.
Onsite & Virtual Event Support:
  • Provide onsite support to ensure smooth event execution and a great attendee experience.
  • Manage virtual event platforms for high engagement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for attendees, resolving issues promptly.
Marketing & Promotion:
  • Help develop promotional materials and manage event communication.
  • Coordinate with the design team to create event collateral.
  • Assist with registrations and attendee communication.
Post-Event Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect feedback and create reports to evaluate event success.
  • Contribute to post-event debriefs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with follow-up communication and content creation.
What you need to be successful
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in German (C1 or higher) is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and virtual event platforms.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Nice to Have
    • Previous event management experience.
    • Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Hopin).
    • Experience with CRM or event management software.
