Location: Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EST)

About the Company:

A specialized consulting firm providing financial and operational solutions to venture capital (VC) funds and startups. With a dual focus on fractional CFO services and unique investor and family office projects, the company brings operational excellence backed by deep experience in fundraising, investing, and portfolio management.

Position Overview:

A proactive Finance and Operations Associate to manage financial operations and operational tasks for its VC clients and startups. This role combines financial advisory expertise with operational execution, requiring close collaboration with clients and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with VC funds on financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio tracking.
Manage operations, including dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting systems.
Oversee client service providers like tax, accounting, and audit firms.
Support internal organizational and operational tasks, enhancing efficiency.
Utilize tools such as Crunchbase, PitchBook, and Google Workspace for data management and analysis.

Qualifications:

25 years of experience in consulting, banking, VC operations, or similar roles.
High attention to detail and ability to meet client deadlines.
Strong written communication skills.
Self-starter with initiative and a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-Haves:

Familiarity with early-stage investment processes and venture capital.
Experience with venture capital tooling and software platforms.
Knowledge of early-stage investment cycles and VC operations.
