Position summary 

 

As we are expanding our team, we are looking for a strong professional demand planner. As a DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Demand plan through the usage of statistics, analytics, input from sales and marketing and understanding of the market and customer development. You will identify and manage exceptions by monitoring performance, quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and adapt it to changing circumstances of certain categories of Nestlé products.  

 

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  

  • Control Monthly Business Planning process adherence  

  • Prepare the long and short-term demand plan, follow up on its execution 

  • Manage events (launches, re-launches, limited editions, seasonal offerings, co-packs) 

  • Cooperate with commercial and other functions 

  • Organize and participate in planning meetings 

  • Prepare and analyze demand planning reports 

  • Capture and challenge the inputs from the stakeholders 

  • Analyze the demand planning KPIs 

  • Manage products’ master data 

  • Update the demand plan in the system 

  • Actively contribute to the portfolio optimization 

  

What will make you successful: 

  

  • At least 1.5-2 years’ experience in demand or sales planning in FMCG sector 

  • Data analysis experience and well mastered advanced Excel skills 

  • Good insight with strong critical thinking & ability to convince 

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; highly developed ability to multitask and work in intense environment 

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English 

  • Effective communication skills and ability to cooperate with different personalities 

  • High learning agility, strong common sense, proactivity, and initiative 

  • Advanced understanding of business practices, sales and marketing processes would be highly valued 

  • Based in Lithuania, Latvia, or Estonia 

  • University degree 

  • SAP knowledge (APO DP) would be an advantage
