SUMMARY
Product Management, Senior Manager is responsible for balancing the company goals with long term industry trends and opportunities as well as for maintaining, and planning the strategies aligned to the product goals for the product/product management department. Essentially, they continuously oversee the successful analysis and development of products that solve the problems and needs of customers today and in the future. They participate on a product development level managing the product strategies in line with the company's goals, the various internal and external influencers, and the industry trends. They also participate on a tactical level, developing client support teams aligned to market goals.

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include the ability to lead people, projects, and initiatives in order to achieve organizational goals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position will have significant relationship management responsibilities. He/she will carry out leadership and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Remote/hybrid position. Some travel is expected for this role.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in product management, communications, business, or related field is required. Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with proven success in managing product service functions, ideally within a non-profit organization.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental relations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to develop and interpret business graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, analyze, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ASAE CAE Certification is preferred, but not required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Project management experience is considered essential for this position, as well as an understanding of the general scope of strategic planning and stakeholder relationships. Ability to work in a multi-task environment considering various external factors and time-sensitive deadlines. Must be a leader who is dedicated to the mission of the new organization and is committed to providing quality programs and achieving excellence in everything they do.
