Job description

Senior Implementation Manager leads complex customer onboarding and software implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment and client satisfaction by managing project timelines, stakeholder relationships, and technical configurations, while acting as a strategic advisor to clients throughout the implementation process, often requiring significant experience in the industry and strong communication skills to navigate complex client needs and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership:
  • Oversee the entire implementation lifecycle from project kick-off to go-live, including planning, execution, testing, training, and post-implementation support for large and complex client accounts.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels (C-suite to end-users), effectively managing expectations and addressing concerns throughout the implementation process.
Technical Expertise:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's product or service, including technical capabilities and configuration options, to guide clients through optimal implementation strategies.
Risk Mitigation:
  • Identify potential project risks and proactively develop contingency plans to ensure smooth implementation and timely delivery.
Change Management:
  • Facilitate change management activities by collaborating with client teams to adopt new processes and workflows seamlessly.
Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and guide junior implementation team members, ensuring project quality standards are met across all implementations.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Regularly monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide comprehensive updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to optimize implementation processes and contribute to the development of best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex software implementations in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to tailor implementation strategies accordingly
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building strong client relationships at all levels
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in collaboration with technical teams
